We primarily grow sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, and other cut flowers. We’re also starting to expand into growing fruits and vegetables.
Yes. Our Farm Market is open during public events. We sell a variety of seasonal flowers and produce, local honey, apparel, and handmade items.
We prioritize sustainability by using drip irrigation to conserve water, practicing crop rotation to preserve soil health, and introducing beneficial insects to naturally control pests. These methods ensure that we produce high-quality crops while protecting the environment.
Throughout all four seasons, Dade City Farms host popular festivals and events including an annual multi-weekend Sunflower Festival, Easter Eggstravaganza, A Freedom and Fireworks Celebration (Red, White, & BOOM!), multi-weekend Fall Festival, Pumpkin Destruction Day, Christmas Lights, and more! Yes! In addition to field trips, we offer animal encounters with exotic animals like porcupines, kangaroos, and more during public event days.
Outside water bottles are allowed, but outside food is not permitted. However, we have food trucks and concession areas available during events.
Alcohol is not sold or permitted on the farm, except during private events where a licensed bartender is serving.
Yes! We have an accessible restroom, and the farm is easy to navigate for guests using wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
For your safety and comfort, we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and dressing appropriately for outdoor conditions. Be sure to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated throughout your visit. As the farm is a working environment, you may encounter ants, bees, or other insects, so please take precautions as needed.

Absolutely! Our field trips are designed to align with Florida’s Department of Education science standards, ensuring that students enjoy a fun and educational experience.
Our field trips are tailored for elementary students, from Pre-K to grade 5.
Students will engage in various learning stations featuring hands-on activities about crop growth, animal care, and sustainable farming. They’ll also have plenty of free play time to explore the farm!
Typically, our field trips last between 2.5 to 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for learning, lunch, and playtime.
Yes! After learning, students can unwind and have some fun with free play around the farm.
The cost is $12 per student. Parents and siblings can also join at the same rate.
Yes! Teachers, paraprofessionals, and school bus drivers can attend for free.
We don’t provide lunch, but students are more than welcome to bring their own and enjoy it at our picnic areas.
To book a field trip, we require a minimum of 20 students.
To ensure an exceptional experience for all students, we limit field trips to a maximum of 250 students per day.
We recommend that students wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for outdoor activities.
Definitely! Homeschool groups are welcome to book a field trip by filling out the booking form on our website or reaching out by phone or email. Please book at least one week in advance.
Not at all! We have ample parking available for both buses and cars. When you arrive, simply check in at our welcome center, and we’ll guide you to where the fun begins!
Rain or shine, we’re committed to making your field trip a success! Many activities are covered, and if the weather is truly bad, we’ll contact you in advance to discuss alternative options.
Yes, we want every student to enjoy their visit! Our farm is fully wheelchair accessible, and we can accommodate students with special needs. Please let us know ahead of time, and we’ll ensure everything is set up accordingly.
