In 2023, Shane and Laura Mart, alongside their business partners Nick and Allison Cooper, took the opportunity to transform Dade City Farms at Lake Iola into a vibrant family-friendly destination. The two couples shared a vision to create a welcoming, outdoor space where people could enjoy farm life and U-Pick flower experiences in the heart of Florida’s Tampa Bay Area.
Recognizing a need for such a space in the community, they launched their farm with a fall festival featuring a corn maze and pumpkin patch. Since then, their vision has expanded to include more than a dozen activities, attractions, and a growing selection of U-Pick flowers – and soon, fruits and vegetables too.
The team is grateful for the support they’ve received from the community and takes great pride in offering a place where families can make lasting memories, connect with nature, and enjoy the joys of farm life.
At Dade City Farms, we’re all about creating memories and connections through the simple joys of farm life. We invite visitors of all ages to step into our world, discover how plants and food are grown, and enjoy hands-on activities, attractions, farm tours, and plenty of opportunities to interact with our animals. Spanning more than 25 acres, our farm grows a variety of crops, from beautiful U-Pick flowers like sunflowers, zinnias, and snapdragons to seasonal vegetables and fruits we’re excited to share in the future.
We host seasonal festivals and events throughout the year, from our Sunflower Festival in the spring to the cozy fun of our Fall Festival, complete with a corn maze and pumpkin patch. It’s a celebration of everything that makes the farm such a special place.
